Not so calm before the storm
I cleaned our dining room today. I'm proud of the job I did. We just need to finish our Chapter Room. (FYI we are currently redoing the Chapter room of my fraternity house to make it more sutiable for studying and working. Thus whem the chapter room got cleared out, the dining room got filled with stuff.)
Almost everyone that's living in the house this year is back. Only two left. It should prove to be an interesting year. I'm looking forward to it.
I went and got my books today. 13!!! Normally it's like 6 for me, max. But my women in mythology class requires about 8 or so. One book is the DaVinci Code, which is awesome. I'm looking forward to that.
Video games are a great way to waste time. I'll have to remember this when I get into the field and try to design games that help to develop you as a person (mentally, socially, etc.).

The silver gleamed in the firelight. It seemed to steal the rest of the light from the room. It was just an ordinary pocket knife. Being cased in silver is normal, but it was ordinary besides that.
Why those. . . people - Bryan couldn't remember if they were men or women- were so upset at losing this, it was beyond him. Granted it would be worth at least a couple hundred if not a grand, but not something to chase him through a blizzard on the coasts of Lake Michighan.
He folded the knife up and returned it to his pocket. He didn't know where he was going to turn to next, but he at least had time to think. He closed his eyes and laid back down. The crackle of the fire lulled him to sleep, just like back home.

Peace out.
